How were the Scriptures meant to be read? Delve deeper in today’s talk about Scriptural interpretation, so you can get a better sense of how to go about reading the Bible, and what to do when you come across parts that don’t seem to make sense.<\/p>\n

After this talk, I challenged everyone to get to know their Bibles better, and suggested getting on one of the “Bible in a Year” reading plans, which can be found all over.\u00a0 But one I’d recommend that is just coming out is put out by the Augustine Institute, and provides a little commentary and reflection along with the daily readings.\u00a0 You can purchase a copy by clicking here<\/strong><\/a>, or, if you are in the Amherstburg area and would like a copy, I am purchasing books in bulk for those who asked for one at our group, so if you leave me your name in the comments, I’ll add you to the list, and you can purchase the book at the front office at St. John the Baptist once the books arrive.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
